Some of Retta's family. some of mine and all of Oma's. We will introduce them later. Posted by Picasa

My sister Oma was about 20 years older that I. She married Joe Link a banker. They had 2 girls Patty and Martha Jane. Gertrude "Tudie" was a retired old maid school teacher, and substitute; when I was in grade school. I was not fond of her then or after she married Ora. She seemed to be in bad mood most of the time. Posted by Picasa

Sonny was Les's only child. He graduated from the Kirksville College Of Osteoopathy with honors, but had someone do much of his reading and he would outline and take notes. While interning he married a nurse, Alberta, and set up practice in Dawson and Blooming Grove, Texas. This was an area that had no doctors, so he never got drafted. After the war they moved to Ft. Worth. Posted by Picasa

Les was about 10 years older than I,and he lived with Dad after the devorse. He attended Georgia Tech and studied for Electrical engineering until he nearly ruined his eyes from studing while he had the measles. He had to quit and went to work for REA , while they were putting up lines all over rural America. Posted by Picasa

Mom and Dad look mighty young this could be Lester. But not his long nose. Mom and Dad devorced when I was a toddler.  Posted by Picasa

This is the name on my birth certificate. Leeding and Stout was mom's idea. Bobbie (girl"s spelling ) was my Uncle Dr John Shrontz spelling he delivered me.
This cost me a commision in US merchant fleet during WW 2. By the time I got all the papers changed I was drafted into USN. This farm has changed very little after all these years. Posted by Picasa

Dad & I on the farm home where I was born.
By now I realize these are going in backwards, but it too late to cry over spilled milk; Just go to the end and view and/or copy backwards. Note the model T touring car. Posted by Picasa

Searle was in business with Dad for awhile. Hamilton & Son had feed, lumber, coal, seed, fence, grain elevator. hardware etc. He then built a 3 story chicken barn with elevator . Later he owned a fishing lodge on Seneca Lake. Posted by Picasa

Searle was my oldest brother?? His mother was my Mother's sister and died after Searle was born. Dad then married Faun's sister, who was Leona Stout (my mother). After Searle devorced Darlene he married Daisy and Mom would have nothing to do with either one after that. Was Searle my 3/4 brother or my 1/4 cousin. Posted by Picasa

Helen and Beula was Searle Hamilton's only children. They were much older than I, but they always called me Uncle Bob. Helen tought me to dance at the honkytonks. Darlene and Beaula both became the local telephone operators. Helen and Beaula both married the Moxley brothers. Posted by Picasa
